If you want to see the MC die, play Legendary. If you want to see MC finish the fight, play Halo 3. If you want to see MC finish the fight by dieing, why did you waste six years when you could have done it yourself right now?

As many have said, and I think I might have heard of it myself a while back. "New Hawtness" should be arriving "soon". That's why I feel it would be a right time to say this. We really, really, need to get more organized. I mean for gods sake, in the H3 forum, we have deja vu everyday, just with different profile names.

If Bungie is working on some sort of "New Hawtness", something to get our ideas more organized should be considered. The search feature was a step in the right direction, yet deja vu still occurs, but with more flame. It drives me crazy the stupidity of some people, but then again, what general public site or even a real place can you go without the majority acting dumber then a pile of rocks?

I'm not entirely sure how you'd make this place more organized. Maybe have something like "mini" forums if you will. I see a lot of sites do it, but with the popularity of this site, Bungie could really take it over the top. It's almost like an outline system.

It starts off like we have it now (Underground, Septagon, H3, etc) but when you move closer, you won't see the user-created threads immediately. Instead, there's more specific links (in the example of the H3 forum, Weapons, Vehicles, Campaign Story, Campaign Gameplay, Multiplayer, and General H3 Hype [you know that's necessary.]) This is just an example of what we would be able to do with what we have now. We can more specific H3 forums too, I'm sure. However, I think those would need to be specific as well.

We had a bunch of forums specific enough before H3 was announced, but now there's so much more to discuss and honestly, not the space to do it.

Theres really no way to change how people are and they will continue to start new threads and be annoying. A guy once on here had the idea of limiting peoples posts per day but that would not go well with the community. The mods do a descent job though but there is alot of repeat threads. Its just going to get worse as the release date is getting closer and closer

Still, that wasn't the idea and I'm aware of what you said. My idea was to make forums more specific. Like instead of just being one big place where all the threads meet, there's more specific links inside the forums.

-Quaere verum.

Got a report? Use the report tool or send a pm.
Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

I'm sure we'll see some changes closer to release. For example, the halo 3 forum is likely to be split up like the halo 2 forums were i.e. campaign/general and multiplayer.

I see where you're coming from on this and organisation is always good to have but you have to remember, changing a website won't change the people that visit it; i suspect that no matter how hard anyone tries, there will still be endless amounts of repeat threads, threads posted in the wrong places, inappropriate threads etc. As you suggest though, the trick is to limit this as much as possible.

Thats funny. Here in the Septagon, we get the same deja vu topics everyday, just with different profile names.

This takes care of the "Bungie fix your site" thread of the week. Now if we can only find someone to post a moderator themed thread and a "What happened to the community?" thread and we'll be set until next week.

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

If your new to the fourms there used to me 3 different Halo 2 fourms to post in but the Halo 3 campaign thread took its place so New Mombasa took on the role. Whats most likely going to happen is the same thing as before. Optimatch will take the fourm of Halo 3. New Mombasa might stay like how the The Libaray is and then the Halo 3 fourm will be split into 2 different things. One will be for maybe what Zanzibar used to be and the other like what New mombasa once was

No, I'm not new here. I've been around since summer of '05.

If you mean in the sense of demands, I'm not demanding. I've even stated why I think this is a good time to bring this up. I'm simply suggesting. That brings up a good point though. People seem to think this is the place to tell Bungie what to do like a mother would.

The reason I'm different is because I want to discuss the subject, not demand something and have it no other way.
