I'm turning into a Bungie sympathizer here but... most of the work for H2V is probably boring porting work, and probably not terribly exciting for the Bungie crew. Can't really blame them for not tooting horns about that, but yeah, I guess it would be nice to hear something.
Yeah, that should forecast a great reason why to buy H2V. "Hey guys, sorry about the lack of updates, but we were just so bored with porting it that we forgot we even had fans who wanted this!" Yeah, I can see a lot of reasons to buy the game afterwards.

That's against the rules, and it's pointless, but go ahead and get yourself blacklisted again. :)
That's what I love about Bungie.net. If you ever speak your opinion against them, they just silence you. Big Brother anyone?
To be honest, I believe the lack of updates on H2V does not bode well for the port at all. You'll all remember the last real H2V update was their update on their FAQ, which involved nothing bug negative comments and removal of content found from the first port, which included no single player HEK support. Remember that thread too? It was full of nothing but people from the Maw and around the Halo 1 PC community voicing their angry opinions. How many real updates have we seen after that? Uh, zero.
It's beginning to be quite apparent that when they do announce a next update on H2V, chances are the news they will be bringing won't be so good and that the port itself will probably be just a rehashed port with some spruced up graphics. When you release a port you don't just rehash the same material and then include tools to create your own map; it doesn't work like that. Though they do fool many that way. "What do you mean you want us to include new weapons, vehicles, and maps? You'll be able to do that yourself with HEK!" Yeah, if you have a 3D modeling program. Forgot to mention that one too, huh Bungie?
Sorry guys, I just have a feeling H2V will be a flop and will only be worth-while by the modders, which doesn't translate an ok on my part, especially if the product is half-assed.
