I have a beta question regarding the level of community partisipation. I've found through numberious sites that sometimes forums are not the way to go when it comes to people with something important to say, so I don't much post in the forums. I do however, read the update faithfully every week to see what is going on and what progress is being made. Recently I've even tried to be one of the 1st people to post making the ever so popular 1st page responders. I also have slowed down on my Halo 2 multiplayer for a number of reasons. The most obvious would be the fall of the level playing field that has come from the more darker side of the community. I have played countless nights from 8pm to 8am before people have found ways to exploit the game. I do feel that I knew about the changes before most, as I would often tell people to send feedback because there was something off about that game session. So my question would be is the Alpha test going to be composed of the same people that have ruined the game, or the most honest of the community. After all would you really want to reward the people exploiting your game by letting them test it? So that is my question. Does someone like me, who doesn't indulge in the community that focuses on being the 1st to respond to your weekly updates only to tell us that they are the best because they were the 1st, someone who only posts when they have something important to say; have a chance to be part of stopping the exploits and hopefully help you guys in making a game that has a longer play life than Halo 2?
P.S. It would be great if you read to page 6 just to stop those idiots on page 1.
Dude you need to learn that nobody is innocent especially when it comes to halo. People just go crazy over the exciting game and there is always going to be cheaters. Almost everyone in halo 2 did or was with a cheater. People:
Standby, team standby, secondary standby, boosting, circle boost, delevelers, glitchers, bridgers, soft modders, disk stopping. Everyone has cheated before and dont even say you didnt because i bet you have done one of the following before.
And there will always be unfair, weird or dishonorable people in halo 2 such as.
betraying, deleveling, cursing and screaming, random feedback, standby for host, member lock, take away your account, and there is so many other things i can name of that people do are stupid in halo 2, and i admit that ive cheated before, and so has everybody in halo 2, so if you think that honorable people deserve halo 3 beta then name them, and they couldnt have cheated before in even such a small noncaring way. Pretty much nobody is honorable and probably everyone wouldnt deserve the halo 3 beta
