I'm currently making a website, and would like to know Bungie's past.

Where did you get your domain name at?

Everybody starts small, such as ZoomShare, or Freewebs, and I'd like to know where Bungie started off as a little website?

Trailer Park Boys ~ One of the best Canadian made comedies ever.

Here you go, the old Bungie site before 2001.

So you're saying that I can make a website there, buy the domain name, and be at the same place Bungie started off?

I doubt it. You were interested in Bungie's past, so I thought you may be interested in their old site.

You've got to think crazy, of course, because you only get innovation by refining insanity. - Jason Jones

I miss the interraction. Look at the guys that posted on the front page alone. Good times.

This is probably the closest thing to an answer you're going to get any time soon.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

I don't think the OP is asking about Bungie's history; I think he's asking about Bungie.net's history.

But if that is the question, then I don't really know how to answer, because I don't fully understand the question.

I could be completely wrong here though. Either way, if your question hasn't been answered yet, then you should clarify exactly what information you want.

That last bit isn't true. Not everyone starts off with some free pseudo-domain provided in that manner.

Bungie's first website was Bungie.com, back about 10 or 11 years ago. As I recall, they ran their own server, in their own building. As such, if you're looking for some kind of free host site that Bungie used when they started their website, you're SOL.

Yeah, some times I miss getting a perl error with every third click, too.

Oh wait, no I don't.
