I won this argument... in my mind.

51) The uncanny ability for my laptop screen to support 1280x720 progressive thus making Halo 2 truly high definition

52) The uncanny ability for my laptop to run faster than most PCs out there!

As for leading = skill, I disagree.

Leading is largely luck based.

Luck based? Are you trying to get everybody to flame you? Leading = skill. If you don't think so, challenge Nessy to a 1v1.

Oh, and I would just like to say that when Gearbox ported Halo to PC, they left a lot of stuff out, and subsequently the PC version's visuals (such as the shaderless flags, assault rifles, Longswords, different teleporter appearance, Jackal shields, etc.) aren't the same as the Xbox version's.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAHAHA. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Now what I just typed above, to get the true feel for it copy it, open a new notepad document and hold down ctrl and v for about 7-9 weeks. That is the amount of laughing necessary.

Leading makes halo PC great, if it was so much luck as you said, I wouldn't always (and I mean always) end with most kills on the MAW server, even when I have 200+ ping. Leading takes skill, and good halo pc player knows that. A lucky player is NOT better than a good player. In halo PC, luck means very little compared to every other game in the universe.

Now, if you think leading is luck, may I refer you to my montage, or to my xfire account for a 1v1: jambokevin.

Do you even own Halo PC?

God damned forums are screwed up today. I've submitted like three posts that haven't appeared and I refreshed the forums a billion times just to make sure I won't double post.

Leading has to do with your internet conect, it's not as much skill as it is knowing what server or how to adjust your lead.

You should probably try to grasp how leading works, and why it works.

You can't predict a player right down to their every move, hence it's largely luck based. The bit where you do predict the moves of the player is skill. How you see aiming a bit more to the left or right as more skillful as aiming steady on somebody's head is beyond me.

I really hate the e-litist (you see what I did there) attitude of some people around here, talking down to everyone.

I could just talk down to you, by letting you know I've been playing longer than you, and around in the community for longer than you, but I won't.

Some people should calm down, and quit telling people about how much better they think they are than everybody else, and how they're opinions hold more value.

^^I already used 56.

Because when they change direction you need to move the crosshairs a lot more than if you just needed to keep it on them.

I fail to see how keeping your crosshairs 1-2 feet in front of the enemy takes any more skill than keeping them positioned on his/her head or chest.

LoL, it is easy to click on an enemy, but being able to judge where an enemy is while compensating for lag is a totally new level of skill.

@ BTCC22

You have 760GB of storage but not enough space to record a single 1v1 halo match against me? Something tells me that you are lieing, and trying to hide something.

You can use gamecam, you have a X850 which is more than enough to record of halo PC.

I look forward to our 1v1.

58) Because it's got the flamethrower in!

What's the Maw without the flamethrower?

Also, you just nailed it on the head:
"but being able to judge where an enemy is while compensating for lag is a totally new level of skill."

You're not really judging where the enemy is whilst compensating for lag, you're compensating for lag BY judging where the enemy is.

If your enemy has a random strafe pattern, there's no sure fire way of judging where they are, whether they've crouched and so on. Therefore, it's guess work. There's only so much you can learn about leading. You take a pot guess at where you THINK your enemy has moved to, aim ahead at that location by an amount determined by your ping and shoot, and hope you're right. If you got it wrong, or they crouched, you've just missed.

I don't see how that makes Halo PC better than the Xbox version, considering how people make fun of it when I play on XBC as well, staticx69.

What is the ego trip? I didn't say anything like OMG I AM AMAZING, just chill mate. I think the best way to show that leading takes skill is to show that 1 person can be better than another at leading, considerably. So I challenge him to 1v1s and people that don't think about what they type just jump out with that stuff.

@Btcc:

Yes, maybe it is slightly guess work, but do not forget that even without lag, halo has inbuilt lead. Now is that guesswork? No. The master chief is not a single pixel thick, and therefore there is room for error. It is not guesswork, otherwise a 166 pinged player would not be able to beat a 66 pinged player consistently.
