Thats the thing with all phenomenas, if someone nails a movie, game, etc. just right, then the next time around they are going to take some stuff out the original fans liked and add some stuff new fans might like. I see that when comparing Halo:CE and Halo 2. In Halo:Ce the campaign was an epic story experience and the nultiplayer was -blam- fun. When Halo 2 came out the campaign seemed shorter to me and the story fealt somewhat distant, it felt too much like an ordinary fps. Instead, the focus shifted towards multiplayer, what many video game players like . Don't get me wrong, Both are spectacular games, but those are the reasons I prefer Halo:CE a bit more than Halo 2.
