I believe it has something to do with the way you view your own profile while signed in..

Except I'm not sure what you're talking about having the ability to edit someone's post.. :\

The user above me, it replaced the "Msg user" with "Edit Post."

Another random bug. But there was a time any member could edit someone else's post, but that changed quickly.

Editing someone else's posting is a sure fire way to get yourself permanently blacklisted.
