that system will kill anything you throw at it right now.
the core2duo is king of the hill ATM and X6800 is just....yeah.

might want to look into another brand of powersupply... not really sure on the reliability of 'ultra' brand. i would recommend something from seasonic, silverstone, ocz, or thermaltake.

Instead of getting two 7900GTX's, just get a 8800GTS, or wait until ATI's R600(dx10) card comes out, the core is supposed to overclock to 1ghz

any keyboard would be fine, 21" widescreen would be cool, or 19", except halo doesn't run widescreen, halo 2 vista should run it though, no guarantees

Dell Widescreen

As for a keyboard, the Razer Tarantula looks nice.

There are about a million different gaming mice out there, I like my MX518 Logitech, might wanna check that out ;)

That dell widescreen is a piece of junk, 6bit color means lots of banding.

Are you asking if that's good, or asking for suggestions/changes?

Do you have the ability to change what you get? as it's pretty nice, but there are some better options currently.

Your future specs are not SO kick-ass...but it's kick-ass enough; let me make some suggestions.

Try convincing your cousin to get you a better power supply. 750-800 will be nice. 1000 will be uber. =D

The new 750 Gig HD from Western Digital looks nice, but if you still want that 500 Gig, it's still good.

Don't get a 7900gtx when you could so much better cards out there for only a few more bucks. If you can't get a 8800gtx, try going for the 7950gx2. In SLI of course. ;D

For keyboards and mouse, any will do, but I highly recommend either the Logitech G5 (USB, Laser), Logitech G7 (Wireless, Laser), or the Logitech MX518 (corded, Optical) gaming mice for smooth, customizable performance, if you plan on gaming. For keyboad, just get anything, I'm still using an old Compaq Presario Keyboard from my sister, and it's working fine.

watts aren't everything, 1000 could be worse than a nice 600, which will suffice.

The best part of this is you can have anything you want since you are lying anyway. Anyone who post trash like this is just dreaming, I'd bet $1000 that this loser never gets his Christmas present.

Banding, aka posterization

That monitor has two good things going for it though, inexpensive and it is HDCP compliant.
