You say tomato; I say potato.
What is the purpose of "This field may not contain words longer than 30 characters." in the sig requirements?
If a word is longer than 30 characters, its probably spam, like ofdihfaoiewjgohjegfojewofihwaeofjalwejfand that's just annoying, as you can plainly see.
shhhhhhh
I think I remember Achronos saying something about space on the server, or something like that. As in, there's not enough for bigger sigs.I dunno.
I hate everything, but it's not my fault.
It's probably so it doesn't break the forum layout.
MY LOVE FOR YOU IS LIKE A TRUCK... Posted by: Langley --on another note, I think MLG Chewhatever is an idiot. Posted by: AchronosThere is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.
I would say that both Mr. Ghandi and Mr. Brilliant are correct. I would be hard pressed to think of something that would/should be allowed that is forbidden for this rule.~B.B.
The reason I am asking is because I have a link I tried to put in my sig that was over 30 characters long. I've tried tinyurl, but it doesn't link properly. I'll get over it but I was just curious of the reason.
http://tinyurl.com/Problem solved.
I'm pretty sure if you link with the http://lookimlinkingtoawebsite.org/ method, and it's over 30 characters, then the system gets pissed off. But if you use the I use pretty hidden links method, the url is hidden and it doesn't matter.-TGP-[Edited on 1/25/2007]
That's a biiiiig link. Shame it's not real.
You can't have words with 30 or more letters. You need to have CORRECT words with SPACING.
