I've challenged my beliefs. What is the book about?

I find that this is usually untrue. If religious people honestly, diligently and intelligently challenged their beliefs, there would be no religious people.

I know, just like every other idea out there, this will probably never work, but is it possible that groups could have their own -blam!- filter? By this I mean the group admins can decide what's -blammed!- and what's not. It'd make posting in groups a lot easier...or...something... >.<

Yeah, that'd be good. Besides, what's the POINT of a blam filter? lf anyone posts anything that's obviously an obscenity, just ban them. lt's simple enough to me.

Eh, but then the damage has been done. :P Children do visit this website.

It's the same with images in signatures, or posting images.. Sure, you could just ban them when they do post some pr0n, (ok, the filter got in my way; ironic.) but then people have already seen all the nasty images etc. and the damage has been done.

For example; instead of investing money in aids to 'Stop Smoking', why aren't we investing more into 'Don't smoke in the first place."?

I think it should stay the way it is. Groups can't have too much freedom. Despite the fact that they are a separate faction of Bungie.net, they still are a part of Bungie.net and must abide by those parent rules. That's how I run my groups. I enforce the same rules Bungie does (with the exception of the "blog" rule).

I would love that. Achronos said himself groups are our responsibility, so even if it did turn out to be a terrible idea that destroyed the group it'd be our fault for disabling it anyway.

2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

That would be great.

There are groups who welcome obscenities with open arms. Why would you ban a person for that?

I think it is a great idea. Make like a check list or list editer. Maybe add words you don't like in your group or take ones out that would be appropriate.

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells
Overrating themselves

Because we all know that getting around the -blam!- filter is incredibly difficult.

No, but its a bit of a nuisance if you dont want your post to look like leet-speek.

Im all for a choice to disable the blam filter in groups.

Excellent idea. People cuss/bypass the filter in almost every group I'm in. Not that I "encourage" it or would overuse it, but its nice to say those words :D

just let it roll off your tounge..... -blam!-

True. I was just thinking that there are other things I would rather see implemented than the -blam!- filter in groups.

I dont know what those things are yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something.

Did you guys know that the security role editor for group settings is -blam!- proof? That's right, you can name yourself the most disgusting thing possible. Not that I would ever do something like that.
