Usually when I go into forums, the first thing I check for is locked threads.

I chuckle when members get into heated debates over "zomg HALO 1>H2!!!!!", "brz dunt take ne skill", "i got cheated 10/12 games today! WTF?! *insert multiple game links here* and the usual "K BUNGIE READ THIS!"

That's just the New Mombasa forum =D
I often venture into the Halo 3 forum. I only leave when I have to take my inhaler (I laugh a little to much sometimes...my asthma can get out of hand XD).

The Flood is a mixed bag...there's usually a steady flow of decent threads in there. Some of the Floodians get so bored that they post stuff among the lines of "oh teh noes my dog ate my halo 3 beta invite!"

I love when moderators leave comments before they lock threads. On some days if I'm lucky, I'm around to see the member complain about the lock in another thread.
Angry member + normal member forum cops = hilarity ensues and hopefully a mod leaves another funny comment.

How can I contribute to b.net when I have so many funny threads at my fingertips?
Am I a bad member for liking stupidity?

I check locked threads first, just to see why they were locked. Not that I don't trust the rest of the moderating crew, but it's good to have a second opinion on things.

Frankly, this job would be boring without conflict. I wouldn't come here if everyone thought I was great. Some of the best days of this job are when someone I've banned decides to send me a little greeting (WARNING, LANGUAGE).

Stupidity is inevitable. You're just accepting the inevitable. Give me 10 euros.

2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Yes, yes that does make you a bad person. /brian

lmao.

That is some of the funniest stuff i've ever read.

Interesting how many of them imply that you have... special... relations with Halo charicters. And that guy called you a nerd.

Exactly. Why do you think the 3 Stooges or William Shatner (lol Trekkie) are so popular?

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Its ok.

When i sign on i see how many threads about mods I can I find.

So strange how they are always locked!

My favorite was; "I have a right to be mad I'm American." Which just so happens to be the only one of these I could re-post without my eyes burning from the profanity. Holy crap.

To add to the conflict; You have no scruples.

And no, you aren't bad. I used to be just like that. Then I started only really looking at the Septagon, and locked threads wern't really a problem.

I usually look into the locked threads in the forum I frequent most (and I am not telling what it is for fear of contaminating it with the dregs of the Halo community) as lockable discussions are almost always funny and the moderators them selves usually pipe in during the locking process.

And TGP, you should feel proud that those left behind by evolution are so angry with you.

I assume that's the Impurity collage.

Maple, I have to agree with you there. It's great to find a soon-to-be-locked thread and leave an witty ironic comment to leave the thread creator stumped and stupified. I can't say I go looking for locked threads myself, I usually just look at any random thread title in the Flood.
