Yeah, I'm here to -blam!- about the lack of updates on Halo 2 Vista, but I'm here more for the discussion of why there has been a lack of updates. Oh, and please don't use the excuse of "they're working really hard on Halo 3!" They have another developing teams for God's sakes. It also doesn't take 50 guys to report on the progress of the game as well. Vista comes out in four days and we don't even have an official projected release date. Hell, we don't even have an official projection, hardware requirement, new screenshots, or any news on this whole "Live Anywhere" thing. So what gives? What do you think about this? Do you think they are over-compensating, knowing that the next update on Halo 2 Vista will leave many mad, like the last real update did? Or are you like the hive mind and actually think they are "too busy working on Halo 3?"
I mean, I wouldn't be as pissed if they at least mentioned the damn game, like at the end of the update they just add a little quip like, "Oh, and we're working hard on getting Halo 2 Vista to you as well." At least THEN I would know that the game is on their mind. I mean, the Halo 2 Vista page hasn't been updated in months on their site and all they do is avoid the topic altogether. Hell, other gaming websites have told us more about the game then Bungie has itself. What is the real deal with this?
