Great Overlord, bless these poor impatient, spoiled children who "need" to know more about a video game.
A need is something you must have in order to survive.
A want is something you desire to have so that you can do more than simply survive.
H2V should just be cancled, you whiners obviously don't deserve Hired Gun's efforts to bring this game to you.
Do the real fans, the ones who enjoy the game for the game and don't really care what info is released beforehand. The guys who look at a game, think it's cool, and play it, and either like it and play it a lot for a long time, or don't and forget about it. The guys who form their own communities, sharing info on the game, without even thinking about the developer. Do them a favour you whiners, and be quiet, before Bungie decides we are not worth their time and money. The fact that we have any info at all about the game other than it is being made is a gift, and if you can't appreciate that, then quite frankly, go to hell.
And I love how the argument that more info should be released to "build hype". Yet I do believe that people here also agree that Bungie has "sold out" etc.
Hyprocrites.
Wow, arent' you quite the extreme type of fanboy, especially with the mention of "real fans." So I take it you'd just buy anything Bungie would produce, wouldn't you? After all, it sure as hell seems like it from your posting. Hell, it would almost seem like you'd buy Frankie's crap if they put it up on eBay simply because "OMG IT FRUM BUNGEE! WE NEVAR QUESTHUN BUNGEE CUZ I REL FANN!"

Welcome but not necessary. They will give us an update when they feel like it.
And for those of you who want to know the release date, try not being so lazy. It's right on Microsoft's gaming website, right hand side under "release sechedule".
Which makes sense as the game is being "made" by a team formed by Microsoft Game Studio, not Bungie, and thus it is a Microsoft product which is given info by them, not Bungie.
The H2V webpage at Microsoft.com
Release date is Spring 2007.
Oh, and the system requirements are "Windows Vista operating system required".
Which means as long as you can get Windows Vista to run on your watch, you can play H2V on it.
And look! Screenshots!
What else was on that list...I'm too lazy to read it again.
Oh yes, what another great excuse. "HEY GUYSSZZ! BUNGEE IZNT DA ONE 2 BLAEM! TEHY ARENT MAEKIN ITZ!" Bull. Bungie is just as involved with H2V as they were with H1 PC; while everyone blames Gearbox for the travesty of the netcode, the people you should really thank is Bungie, considering it was their decision. This is, after all, their game, and they, therefore, are there every step of the way in development of the port.
Oh, and yeah, "Windows Vista operating system" requirements is real specific. Go build your Bungie shrine elsewhere.

well halo 2 vista isnt much different than xbox, (except way better graphics and better community, and a few changed maps) other than that just stuff like campagin just look at halo 2 for the xbox DEE DEE DEE
This is why you need to return to New Mombasa, regardless whether you're from there or not. Zero auto aim, the removal of melee lunge, and the ability to cure Halo 2 from the travesty it was on the Xbox makes H2V all good reasons to buy it.
