Hey fellas,

Here's the deal. Ever since my first gew postings in my search for a group of Halo'ers I literally got 1,000's of IM's and e-mails from people wanting to join. The response has been nothing short of amazing from the diverse amount of people that play the game. I have spoken to people that won numerous tournaments & others who admit they aren't the best but are more then willing to learn. Honestly, I don't know why the gaming community is looked down on--the bungie community honestly could do a better job then running the country over Bush or even Kerry for that matter. Not only have I read about the potential Fury members, but I have studied other teams and how they work, talk, communicate, relate etc etc. The competition will be nothing short of the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life.

Halo isn't your average game as we have all noticed. It has more thought into it then 98% of the other games in its genre out there. I decided to make this post in a one final attempt to reach any members of the bungie community that may have missed my previous posts.So here we are again, and here I will list why Team Fury is what it is and how it will become something more.

My name is Guy Meyer and I am a 21 resident of southern California. I work for a small robust web design firm called Corporate Green.net--you may have heard of them, the CG owners Blake and Matt made the new Red vs Blue site, aka Rooster Teeth. I have taken my web design skills and put them to use to build the Team Fury site which can be previewed at http://team-fury.com The feedback I have gotten from even the preview of the site has been a great sigh of relief for I have put numerous hours of work into it to produce what you see. Anyways, I need a few good players to join this team and help build it into what I have been talking about--The best Halo 2 team on bungie.net.

How will we do this might you ask? Not easily, I need players who are proffesional, well developed and most importantly easy to get along with. Drama players looking to take over and do as they please need not apply to this team. This team has no 'true' leader, all it will be is managed by me for making dates and matches to hone our skills. I need players who have amazing logic skills and can analyze the field and decide the best course of action in a match--I need players who can out smart the enemy and ensure a victory. Basically folks, I don't want, as i have said hundreds of times--a player who can beat the halo 1 on legendary. That means nothing to me. Everyone who knows how to play can beat the game with a pistol a little smarts. However, beating a living thinking person with a pistol versus their rocket launcher is another story.

Summary of this post:
* Looking for players who excel in all areas of Halo.
* Candidates must be drama free (THIS IS KEY!!!!)
* Must play nicely with others. Sharing is caring <3.

Thanks for reading this far, if you have--I might have piqued your interest. So heres how to apply for a tryout on nov. 9th. Reply to this post via email with your:
* Current Name.Age.Location
* Xbox live game tag
* What you feel you can contribute to the team in terms of commitment, skills and proffesionalism.

Along with the e-mail, for the sake of my sanity, I need you to reply to this thread directly with a time you can tryout. Please view other candidates times to avoid double scheduling. All the people that apply will be e-mailed back personnally by me after I review the e-mail. I know all of this sounds over the top, but you have to understand that in order to have order, you must have order. send emails to join@team-fury.com. The people that understand that will most likey be the ones that get in. Thank you so much for your time guys and Ill be in touch with all of you later.

guy

p.s. i totally forgot to mention, this is a small team with eight core members. maybe a few others above that, but chances are slim. Also if you have any specific quesiton so not at all hesitate. IM me on aol at urbannewb or on msn trimediastudios@hotmail.com

alrite im game

my name is Jerry. Im a 16 and im from Indianapolis, Indiana
my gamertag is AtillaTheOne (been tryin to match it with my B.net name, but cant figure out how to change my B.net name)

Ive been dying to play halo online for some good team games. Not many people around me play halo so i normally cant play games bigger than 3v3. Same goes with XBC since you cant play with more than 6-8 people without it lagging like crazy. Ive been looking for clans, and yours seems the most legitimate considering that you look for more than skill, but for thinking skills and teamwork (which i excel at in both). Plus your website is SWEEEET, although most of the links dont work yet.

As far as my skills, I excel in big team games, or whatever the situation calls for. I like the strategy in CTF, and looking at the new game types in Halo 2 multiplies the need for strategy and tactics. This is where i think i can contribute because i love to strategize and plan, and doing it with a team will make it even better. As far as fighting skills, i like the short-mid range combat. My favorite weapons are the shotgun, rocket launcher, grenades, or anything else that goes boom! Sniping/getting sniped can be considered my weaknesses, but there are always different ways to outsmart a sniper.

Im am online often, and as far as tryout times go, it might be better for you to pick time since the timezones between California and Indiana are very different.

Wow that was kinda long, almost like sending a resume. Anyways i hope you consider me for your clan.

PS: looking foward for your website to be done cuz it looks Nice : )
