Two interesting statements.
"Our test team shared a very amusing piece of test data with us – a “map” of kill zones taken using a sampling of about 650k games (all played on the Alpha)."
650,000 games is a LOT. Especially on just one map. I'm surprised that more videos of halo 3 haven't been leaked if this is the case.
"And the MLG boys will sweat blood with excitement. They will all still moan at me about how we nerfed the pistol from Halo One, but this new thing will at least cheer ‘em up for a few months. Or years. It’s that big."
This sounds like a lot of hype, and I thought you learned your lesson Frankie from Halo 2. I'm wondering if this is really true, as it takes nearly perfection to please the MLG crowd. So to say the least, this is really something to live up to. The only clue we have is that this new feature will be welcomed by both tricksters and "professional" players. And I can't really think of anything like that.
