I didn't know that GameJunkieJim abandoned the community. How times change, eh?

He should be back.

/me smacks head.

Jim never left. Thus, he could never come back...in that way.

As for format, i'll let you know.

Bathroom reader should be up next week, but its a pretty hectic week, so that may change.

Well, it is nicer to have the pdf format but I wouldn't like to make the production uber hard for you staff folks. We just appeciate the time you already put into it.

Minor update: The next reader should available in both jpeg formation and pdf, at the same time. All the content is now in my hands, so I'm currently creating the lay-out making sure things will look both nice and yet remains readable (assuming that I have taste...). It will take a few days (since I'm busy right now), but making the pdf format shouldn't be too difficult.

Well I'm just saying, not too long ago Jim was one of the people preaching about how everyone needs to be more involved with the Community to help get it to be what it once was, and here Jim is being inactive for long periods of time, not contributing to the Community in the slightest bit.

Yeah but there's a difference between refusing to contribute and being unable to contribute. A rather colossal difference in fact.

I agree. But not being able to contribute to the community at all for as long as he has because he has to "pay the bills"? I have to pay bills too, but I am able to come on and at least post pretty regularly. I don't think Jim's telling you guys the full story. I question whether or not has the best interests of the Community in mind.

But you're missing the point. The mod's are about volunteer work- they don't have to come here for 5 hours a day. That's why there are an adequant supply of them.

I say, cut Jim some slack. When he's ready, we'll get a new Bathroom Reader.

Posting on Bungie.net is serious business?

Jim is the one who took it so seriously before, not me. I'm just saying that if he's preaching about being active and interacting with the Community then he should not be hypocritical and he should be active with the Community. He doesn't have to be online 5 hours a day. Just a post every day or two would be enough to at least let us know that he's still alive at the very least. Is that so much to ask? I find his extended leave of absence from Bungie.net highly suspicious, and so should you. He may be planning to betray the Community.

Yes, the ideal situation would be that GJJ could get on as much as we all would wish. But the truth is that you don't know his situation. You can compare it to your own, busy, schedule, but unless you know what his life is like, it is impossible to judge him.

He is a great part of this community. Because he is not here, we should support, not judge him.

On top of it all, I applaud him for putting his family before a game website. If time is what the guy needs to get "real-life" in order then I support that. Even if it makes him seem, to some, hypocritical.

All this talking to invisible people worries me. Let's return to talking about the Bathroom Reader instead, shall we?

^ Hey, I work in a Psych Unit, I work with people that talk to invisible people all the time. I know their lingo :)

Anyway, moving on. Do you think we can expect another bonus issue like we had last time? I just figured since the time between issues was greater this time that there may be enough content for a second ".5" issue.
