And it's true, for the most part. Most videogames are re-hashes of older titles with better eye candy and maybe a unique feature. There's nothing really revolutionary in the design, they just crank out game after game with nothing really new or exciting.
I second that. A perfect example is Mario Bro. on the DS. It just has a 3D look, and the only improved feature is that the big mushroom turns you into a huge Italian plumber. Other than that, the original one for the NES and that one is pretty much the same.
*Jump on the Troopas, jump the paltforms, get to Bowser, jupm on him, save Peach (who is somehow never able to defend herself, that slut), etc. etc.* Oh what fun...
