Before l start, l'd like to make it known that l understand this isn't for the Septagon, but please please don't make me go to the Flood. They're the least useful people in the world. Just, help me out then lock this. l know l can count on the Septagon.

Okay, well, l'm trying to make a Halo 3 screen saver, so when my computer goes idol, all Halo 3 photos come up. Using ctrl + click, l was able to take the pictures JUST FROM BUNGIE.COM and put them in iPhoto. Then, from there, l could drag them to my Photo Cache, and then those are the pictures that are in the slide show.

But here's the problem. Pictures NOT from Bungie.com don't have an option when l ctrl + click them to save to iPhoto. This means l can't get them to my Photo Cache, which in turn means can't be a part of my slide show. The pictures from Bungie.com are great and all, but there's only about 10. On 1up.com and google search, l was able to find a lot more pictures having to do with Halo 3 that would really look good in my slide show. But l don't know how to add them! l tried saving them individually to my desktop, and then dragging them to the Photo Cache - no luck. ls there a way to do this, or no? ls it possible to get pictures from a search engine or a website onto my slide show. Thanks, l really appreciate the help.

You should just be able to save them to your desktop, and import them into iPhoto.

l tried that, but it says "The following files could not be imported (they may be an unrecognized file type of the files may not contain valid data)."

Do you have Photoshop? If you do, then you can change the file type by going to file>save image for web and saving it as a .gif or something like that.

No signature found. Click here to change this.

I'm having some trouble understanding what you're trying to say here, but I'll give you some help where I can.

For starters, just click and drag. You don't need to do Control+Click on pictures to save them, just click and drag to the desktop.

Now, for doing a screensaver, drop iPhoto, drop your photo cache, because there's an easier way. A neat little shareware program I picked up called iScreensaver. Yes, it's shareware, but even with those limitations, they allow you to create a slideshow screensaver, install it, and run it on your computer. I don't recall who makes it, but if you do a Google search for iScreensaver, you'll find it. If you need a tutorial on how to make a slideshow, PM me. I've made several.
