After 4:33EST, I'm out until 6:33EST (3:33 bungie time)
In general, I think software companies like to think that they're doing us some huge favor. People who line up in front of stores or people who patiently wait in the early hours of the morning deserve more than what they usually get.
But what do the companies do? They treat us like blam. As long as consumers keep running right back like drug addicts, these game corporations don't really have a reason to care what we think. A good example is the Wii, for which countless numbers of kids have waited hours in line, only to be disappointed by shortages.
I guess I'm a hypocrite as well, because despite my logic telling me to screw this, I suppose I am one of those addicts who can't live without Halo 3.
