Hey Mckeegan. Welcome back. =D
There's one thing that confuses me. What makes the Maw Server/Maw Gathering so popular, with people immediately saying they're come or try to come? (no offense Igg, your server's awesome) I don't know, I posted a thread about my {LP}/Maw Gathering last night about 3-5 hours before I set it up, and yet, not one person shows up. It shouldn't be because it's recognized as a feeble, minor server, I alerted everyone on my new idea of having external Maw Gatherings every other day in my other thread. I also don't tiep liek theess, and n0t poost th3 ip at @ll, and cl@iming ill b3 the 0ne in th3 sh33. I layed it out just like how Igg and K121 does it.
I'm wondering, how come my server never got any attention? Most people should know by now, I posted a thread about my new idea just recently...any answers?Dude, seriously. The Maw gathering threads are always announced one or two days before the gathering itself, thus giving plenty of people time to reply and to see the thread before they join the server. Not only that, but you only just recently posted about your gathering--Iggwilv must have been posting gathering threads for years. Stuff like this takes time. Be patient. You'll see. You can't just expect everybody to want to pop into your server just like that, but they'll join the Maw server all the time because they know it's always going to be there, it's always going to be reliable. Just take it slow, dude.
Oh no no, don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying rush things, or anyone in that matter. I didn't even expect more than 5-8 people yesterday, but never expected...zero...xD
