Subject: Signing Out Problem

Okay when I press "sign out," my account doesn't sign out. The only way to "sign out" is to exit my browser (Firefox). I know it's not a major problem, but help?

EDIT: Is clicking "save email" a bad thing to do too?

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

This happened to me once. It just takes a while and it will be ok. I don't log out most of the time anyways. I just exit out of the browser.

My advice-get Internet Explorer! Lol, I just think it works better. I've never had any problems.

You could use tabs and just close the tab.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

Do you have it set to automatically sign you in? I can't remember whether that is an option or not, but if it is, that could be a problem.

Wait. Do you mean sign out of your XBL account or your windows live ID? And autosign in is an option. But I don't think it should prevent you from signing out.

Simple solution, just go to Hotmail.com, and click the button under your email address on the sign-in page that says Sign In With a Different e-mail address.

There is a bug related to signin/signout when you have "save my password" checked.

We haven't been able to track it down yet, so email bnetbugs@microsoft.com about it and detail everything.

More importantly, don't use the "save my password" box. It is dangerous - it makes it that much easier for someone to steal your Windows Live ID.

I just experienced wierdness too... I clicked the locked topic in The Flood, I FAIL 1111, and was re-directed to the front page of Bungie.net... When I tried it again, it was fine... Ah well...

Also, Achronos, if I have my password saved, but only on my personal laptop, that's safe, isn't it?

(I, like, love commas...)

If it's that much of a problem, can't you just disable the "save my password" thing? Or is it a Windows Live ID thing that you can't take away?

I am pretty sure it is a Windows Live thing.

"Save My Password" = "Haxxor my E-mails"
Don't use it.

I just do "save email."

Wow, I think this is my first thread replied by Achronos.

You shouldn't even save your E-mail. I had the worst habit of saving both my E-mail and password. Then I grew out of it for security reasons. I recommend that you do the same. It is safer for you and your account.

Okay.

BTW, good luck in the military!
