Yes they do. However you can't adjust the deadzone of the controller and the 360 controller is really really sensitive. You will find it hard to run up narrow areas because of it.
It's much easier if you use the D-pad for movement on Halo PC. Much easier. What's going to cause you the most trouble is adjusting to lack of reticle magnetism on Halo PC. It is possible to be good at Halo PC with a controller, but it is much easier with keyboard and mouse (this comes from someone who has experience with both).
I can vouch for this, because I've used a 360 controller too. As got milk12 said, there is no aim assist for Halo, so it is much different from the Xbox version.

The 360 headset works also when you plug it into the 360 controller. :)Yes, but the sound quality sucks--you're better off just using speakers or a headset.
