All those threads were posted by bungie employees/community dudes, waaaay back in the day. They're allowed to post images, whereas we mere peons aren't, because we'd all feel inclined to post giant pictures of our own arses.

Damn, should have known. But for example, look at the group Fire at Will. The founder there somehow managed to post a picture in one of his threads recently. I'm pretty sure he isn't an employee; he says he's only ten.

In all the Gallery threads ofr captions contests, the first person in the thread manages to post a picture directly into the forum, something I thought was impossible here. Can anyone fill me in on how exactly you can do this?

I am...whimsical today.

There is a way to do it, but I feel the secret is closely guarded :)

Yes.

When hell freezes over.

So, don't expect to posting pictures anytime soon.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I know how to post a picture but you can only do it in a group. Something tells me not to tell you guys. >.>

Hint: I learned from a very little-known group here on Bungie.

That feature would most definitely be abused. The only people that are able to do it is Bungie employees.

There are quite a few little-known groups here. Feel like being nice and PMing me about this further?

I wouldn't post any in the forums. Possibly in a private group of mine, but nowhere public. I know that could easily be abused.

"I pledge to punch all switches, to never shoot where I could use grenades, to admit the existence of no level except Total Carnage, to never use caps lock as my "run" key, and to never, ever, leave a single BoB alive."

2B || !2B - Why don't you look Inside the Machine?

Is there a way for the normal Joe to post pictures?

Maybe.

Will I tell you if it is true?

No.

The best thing to do is not to play with fire when one is tempted to do so. Better yet, don't add gas to a fire if possible.

This much is true... Alright, I guess I'm good. If anybody feels like telling me how to do it, just PM me. If not, mods, feel free to lock this.

News? Podcasts? Machinima? Active forums? Competitions? Jaffa Cakes!? OMG!
Thee Warriors!

Best. Mod. Ever.

At The Warriors (in sig) we use them all the time in the forum. Well.. for the caption contests. Yep. An excuse for spam.
Speaking of people posting pics of their arses, who says that's a bad thing?
Hhmm... teh soulz...

It is in groups. But it's not a glich many know about. And those of us that do know about it should keep our mouths shut so it doesn't get taken away like the ability to freely post them in news and resources used to be.

Hey, I didn't say it, blame Achronos.

But seriously, get over it guys. It's never going to happen. And it's against my better judgement to tell you guys this, but what the heck. Alright, if you can post news, you can post pictures. Simple as that. But I doubt that you'll be able to post Bungie news anytime soon, so you might as well stick with posting pictures in your own groups.
