to every one about to read this post please note that I am not one of those people that got the game illegally i just watched a review on gamespot.com. now to what i wanted to talk about: why in god's name will only a small portion of the game be played on earth and why (this is what i determined from the vague details on the review i watched) are we leaving master chief and going to play as some elite. also why is the health system diferent. i liked having two having two elements that made up your health even if it meant searching for health packs. i know the game will be great but i don't know why you changed things if they worked just fine. give me halo 1 with a better campaign, dual weilding, vehicle jacking, and xbl play and that would be perfect. i know that's what you tried to do but i have a feeling you came shy of my perfect expectations. i know there had to be differences (mistakes) but i guess i never expected it to change like this. i don't doubt it will be the killer app of all time but i think it will let me down a bit.

**possible major spoilers, stop here if you have any sanity you have been forewarned**

okay, i also saw the gamespot review and have this to say, you leave earth early on in the game to complete chief's "final solution" shall we call it, that is to capture a covenant vessel and find the covenant hemworld <halo:the flood and first strike books> i also know this because of leaked info that states that there are levels on the covenant homeworld. this ws the chief's original mission even back before halo the defense of earth was just a minor distraction is that quest, also you play as the elite for only like 3 levels, because he is a traitorous covenant general who was to be executed for losing the fleet at halo so he decided to run away and help you.
also the health was changed so that you can just wait for a few seconds to regain health instead of searching for health packs, but i can see why you like the old system.
**end of major spoiler section**

thank you for that. from what i got from the game spot review i thought you played only a small part of the game as master chief. i was suprised that the game stop review gave away so much. the game spy review did no such thing. you could get more campaign info by watching a trailer on h2 than reading the game spy review.

I didn't read the other reply because I really don't want to see whatever spoiler is inside, but I will add that I have friends in the press who have played the game, and though they wouldn't give me any info outside of what we're sposed to know, they all said the same thing "This game owns all". So whatever gets done I'm going to assume it's a good thing :).

i agree. the game will own but there were some changes made that, at a first glance, made me afraid the game wasn't gonna be good. i trust bungie and their judgement.

I have to agree that the removal of health is sour. I enjoyed the new element it added to the game.

Mistakes? Bungie changed things for a reason. They have tried their hardest to make the best game they can possibly make. Wait until you play it and if you're not happy then, then sucks for you, I will still play it and like it.
