I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?
I have noticed a big drop in activity in certain areas of the B.net community. This is a short list of the areas of little or no activity:-Caption Contests in the Gallery-Group Spotlight (the Marty Army has been there forever)-The Voting Booth (new polls need to be added)Those are just some of the stick-outs in the community. So the question is...how do we boost it back up?I believe that after the release of Halo 3 Community activity will spark back up and everything will be great (except for those few idiotic spammers). Halo 3 will start up new conversations and we will have alot more to talk about. One of my personal favorites: TheoriesI love the theories that members post. The theories also get a very large quantity of posts. Such as the Rainbow Theory. Snakie really deserves some sort of recognition for such a great and vivid theory. Also the Conspiracy Theory. Another one of my favorites: Fan-ficI personaly believe that the members who take their time to make such great stories have something special. I love fan-fic. And also the same as theories, they get a massive amount of posts too. These are just a few simple ways that spark up activity. And one other main Booster:Cool Updates/NewsI believe that the Halo 2 updates back in the day were very interesting. The Halo 3 updates are nice but just not quite as nice. If B.net (no offense) would put a little more "perk" into the updates and new stories I think it could influence more and more members to look around Bungie more and get them "addicted".Bungie has a amazing background behind it and many mysteries. But Bungie needs a little bit more of a community to back that up.-Recoil[Edited on 2/6/2007]

Ah yes. I remember back in the days when Halo 2 had come out, there were fanfics and theories everywhere. They were fun to read, and not so far-fetched. There used to be a lot more activity, granted. I just want to see some more intelligent conversation. I dont care if we cut activity in half in replacement of intelligent conversation, I'd take intelligence any day.
Seriously, don't take me seriously.Underground Pleasure - aren't you a bit curious?
Halo 3 will bring it back up.
The Bungie team is busy on H3, once that's out, they will go back to spamming teh forumz.
The Marty ArmyAh, look at the lonely people...
<3 The Marty Army.In any case, Bungie need to hire an ARMY of KPauls to maintain the entire community aspect of the site. But, that's my opinion.

I mean the Dev Team. When they aren't working on Halo, what do you think they're doing? A little bit of B.net, that's what.

If you (whiteraven) was given the job to keep it maintained you could probaly keep it up a few days and then you would quit because you would realize how much work it is.
Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!
A boost in the quantity of activity doesn't necessarily mean a boost in the quality of activity, keep that in mind

I would like to see the Voting Booth updated, most of the threads are still pre-Halo 2 launch. That and the Gallery desparetly needs a new caption contest.
