No wonder Bungie isn't updating. They have nothing good to report on the game any more; just more dissapointments.
QFT, this freakin sux, even with xfire, how will u be able to stay in a game, youd be flying all over the place from game to game. Is that how xbl works? im still a serious noob to the whole system.
but its not hugely expensive to get a decent vista computer that can play h2v, now if u want dx10 (which i suggest) thats a whole different ball game.
H2V won't have hugely upgraded graphics from the Xbox version. I'm sure even a system like an Athlon64 3200+, 2GB PC3200 RAM, Nvidia Radeon 7300, Creative Soundblaster Audigy Gamer.. will be able to play H2V. I shall prove that too once the game's out since that's the computer I have setup in my room. Nothin' like some Halo before bedtime. =D
As for Dx10, Halo2Vista doesn't require it.. but will supposedly have Dx10 optimizations for those who have Dx10 cards.. soo waiting for ATi's r600 core vidcards cause not impressed with nVidia's G80 series vidcards.. mainly drivers... so yeah, even Crysis will have a Dx9 version that won't look as good and will run more poor, but will still run fine on Dx9 vidcards otherwise CryTek wouldn't bother with a Dx9 version of Crysis. So Dx10? will be the future of games oh yes, but not a necessity for now, maybe not even in 2008.. but don't quote me on that, ya never know with computing. ;)
now, as for the Live announcement, saddening that party system will be only for gold members.. so does that mean no lan gaming for non-gold subscribers? plus, still no announcement if norm online gaming will require a subscription or not.. as for voicechat, if it's a fee I'll continue to stick with TeamSpeak or Ventrillo. They work fine, they sound fine, so I'm fine.
