Why the hell are you looking at this? Get out.

And no group invites, you jerk. I'm not interested.

Occassionally when I hit a link or button, the page will head straight for the Bungie.net home page rather than do the action I requested.

I'm sure this isn't a new issue, but what causes it?

If it's linking to something on Bungie.net, check to see if it's got a "www." in it.

Sometimes, if the "www." isn't there, it will redirect you to the homepage.

Well sometimes even the very "reply" button does it. Doesn't really make sense.

Now that, I haven't heard of yet.

I'm somewhat doubtful this would make a difference, but are you maybe browsing bungie.net under "http://www.bungie.net" or just plain "http://bungie.net"?

Usually, my browser redirects me and tacks a "www." at the beginning, but that may not be the case for all browsers.

IE7 still uses www.

I'm sure it's just occasional glitches in the forum's program.

2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This happens to me a lot as well.

"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

That would be courtesy of Windows Live ID. If you go to a page and have an expired passport cookie (or an almost-expired one) - it will attempt to silently reauthenticate you. On occassion, it does this, but depending on where you are when this happens, the system isn't sure where you just were and just defaults to sending you back to the home page.

This will happen more often if you select "save my password" - in general, you're on your own if you select that option, and deserve what's coming to you. :)

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

You know, there sure are a lot of problems with that option. And you always say that we shouldn't use it. Hmm.... maybe the cause and effect of this situation aren't what they would first seem.
