Hey does anybody know if CO-OP will be able to work via internet. It would be nice to be able to play legendary with an online friend. It has shown great success in Gears of War. I don't know why it wouldn't work. Next question
Didn't Bungie release a weekly update saying that cross platforming between xbox and pc wouldn't work because of the keyboard and controller difference, But if you can plug a wired Xbox 360 controller into a USB port (which i have done it and it works fine) wouldn't that excuse be kind of wrong. Next question
Launch Date for H2V...Anybody know at all a rough estimateI recommend that you read the forum stickies, especially Agamemnon's Halo 2 Vista FAQ thread, before you post questions like these. It'll save up time and space, and you won't need to bother us, but we'd be happy to answer.
Let me answer you:
* There is no co-op on Halo 2 PC. Whatsoever. Sorry. Don't compare two completely different games together like that--Halo 2 and Gears of War run on different engines on different platforms. It's not that simple, in Halo 2's case.
* Um, no, no, no, no. Sorry, but that is incorrect. You say it as if it's that easy, but in truth you're not taking in account for aim assist, the advantage of the mouse and keyboard over the controller, and other reasons why Halo 2 isn't going to be cross-platform compatible--such as the fact that Halo 2 has already been out for the Xbox for over three years.
* I'd say around the launch of Live Anywhere, but I can't be sure. Bungie hasn't been giving too many updates regarding the game lately.
