and your all newbs in here...its for vista because of DirectX10. You can't use dx10 hardware on xp, you have to use a software emulator. And last I checked there is only one card that supports dx10 and that is the GeForce 8800 GTX card (which also supports dx9 for xp).First off, we never called anybody else "newbs" or any variant of it whatsoever.
Secondly, it appears that you are the noob here, because contradicting what you just said, the GeForce 8800 can be used on Windows XP PCs. Also, Halo 2 will support DirectX 10 cards, but it won't use DirectX 10 itself. Nice try, dumbass.

No.
Vista is just a better platform for gaming than XP ever was.
So TC, don't -blam!-, get a job, and quit the drugs.
You just made me chuckle at your self-denial attitude.
Wake up man. Halo2 on the Xbox is OLD. It would work just as well on the XP OS. Reasons they're doing it on Vista?:
They want your freakin' money. No crap, I thought they were a non-profity charity. Yes, Microsoft does want your money, but that's not why they put Halo 2 on Vista.
