I was playing on 343 Guilty Spark on Ledgendary and when you get to the log / bridge to get to the structure, near the turret this flood form appaered and then ran of. When i got there no flood or bodies of flood apart from one of them liitle bits that fly of when you shot them.

Yup, it's old, but I always find it strange. Throw a grenade before you get off the ship and you stay on it until it crash lands. You'll find Mendoza and when you enter the cave you'll find the AR's shooting, but they're just floating.

On 343 Guilty Spark when you're walking across the log. You can see the silouhette of a covenant flood.

I repeat, sing along with me, I run the streets the streets don't run me.

Yea. And when you keep on going further, you see assault rifles firing at some Covenant jackals and grunts. If you get lucky and get a close up, they are actually floating.

I think theres four, plus a dead flood body somewere.

  • 02.17.2007 8:03 PM PDT

Yeah. There's the 2 Elite Flood that run off by the log, the floating AR's that kill you if you stand in front of them, the grenades blowing up turrets for no reason, a dead flood body up at the top opposite where the dropship stops, Mendoza, and the large amountof dead marines on the ground outside if you go back up the lift.

I think that just about covers it.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but on 'Assault on the Control Room,' in one of the very last rooms of the level - the room before you go onto the bridge (contains 2 hunters), there is 'evidence' of the Flood.

Occasionally, in that room, you can see spatters of the 'blood' of the Flood.

After I completed the game, I replayed AotCR (my fav. level) and found that. Suffice to say, I got incredibly freaked that a Flood form would suddenly jump me - I hightailed it out of that room...

Anyone else seen this?

Wow, really? I need to see that.

Anyways, has anyone noticed the Flood onto of the log? It's when you turn left when you se the crashed Covenant dropship (which freaked me out becasue the marines aren't able to do it)? Ok, when you see the two Jackels, look up at the second root, then you'll see on standing there.

Also, when you go down the lift, then come right back up, go back to the dropship and stay there for about five minutes, you can here Flood all around you, their sounds.

Things that freaked me out on this level, for the first time-
1. The Grunts and Jackels running madley during the cutscene.
2. The radio where the guy says that Keyes has been captured by hostels, no covenant.
3. Seeing the crashed covenant dropship
4. Having the yellow dots appear on my radar and looking at thins running through the forest.
5. The bullets and greande going off, foing into the same room, then the lift comes out. (Now I know it was a trap)
6.dead covenant everywhere.
