Hey, this is my first publicly posted map. It didn't take much time to make, but play testing it was a blast.

This was built as a soccer-like game. Download the Blaster Ball variants to match (on my file share).
Blaster Ball 1 = slayer w/ unlimited kills
Blaster Ball 2 = my favorite, everything is invulnerable to make moving the ball easier

Weapons / accessories:
Grav Hammer: moving the ball up close
Brute Shot: moving the ball at a distance
Trip Mines and Grav Lifts: great for defense, throw down in front of the goal you are defending.
Bubble Shield and Flare: great for offense, keep the defenders from hitting the ball
Sniper Rifle: one placed on the map for the Blaster Ball 1 variant.
Sticky Grenades: Stick the ball with plasma and spike grenades to help move it.

Vehicles:
Warthogs: work best for defense, each side has 1 gauss and 1 regular
Ghost: good for interceptions and killing strikers, but not effective at moving the ball

Strategies:
If you're on defense, get the ball into a man cannon to shoot it to the other side.
Send a scout in to Hammer the warthogs around before getting the ball close.
Keep just one guy on permanent defense. If he does his job, that should be enough time for the strikers to get back and help out.

You should know going in:
The ball spawns 30 seconds after the round starts to allow players to prepare.
There isn't any built in scoring system, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way. I suggest playing to 10 goals on the Blaster Ball 2 variant, and 5 on Blaster Ball 1.
There is a system of shield doors to keep the ball from going out of play, but it's not perfect. If you get it stuck, just don't touch the ball for 30 seconds and it will reset.
