The Zero key on my TI-83 doesn't work for some reason. I know it's not from a wrecked button but I believe something must of gotten deleted so their is no number or anything on that key that will work so basically it's an empty key I believe with nothing to put in there to make it represent zero again. I know that was an odd explanation but I would appreciate if anyone would have any helped. I also already checked the Texas Instruments website and no help there.

That was the first thing I tried. I also tried to manually reset it but none of those worked.

Open it up and clean it. Its basically the same problems as with remotes and cleaning them helps.

Maybe but I don't have the type of screw drivers to open it up. But I'll try to clear as much dust out as possible

Okay I found some hex keys and I unscrewed the six hex screws out but how do I open it all the way now?
