Bungie is seeking a Multiplayer Designer to help blast a mountain of marble into a controlled masterpiece of multiplayer chaos. The Multiplayer Designer will work with our Senior Designer to create and maintain dynamic and interesting areas in which players can compete for fame, fortune, and fun.
As a multiplayer designer you will be an integral member of a small but powerful team of multiplayer ninjas. The Economy Designer at Bungie will develop a robust and rewarding game economy that drives player behavior toward intended goals and validate those systems through intense simulation, testing and iteration. You’ll design the systems and mechanics which drive in-game trade, satisfy the players’ need for possessions and wealth whilst ensuring rewards retain their intended value despite attempts to exploit or grief the system. You will determine what data is necessary to mine, ensure we have all of the hooks necessary to gather that data, and come up with all of the interesting metrics and questions we should ask of that data. You will run simulations of these mechanics based on expected player behavior and test these simulated results against actual player behavior; tuning the live system accordingly.

Bungie is looking for an SDET to help our Test Team ensure the overall quality of our product. As a Performance SDET at Bungie, your responsibilities will include understanding that workflow and defining performance requirements and metrics for the game. Duties also include participating in feature planning and design/content reviews and writing and maintaining test applications and automated performance test suites.
You will manage a small test team and work closely with cross functional leads to determine critical performance data to measure, evaluate, and publish. You will work with the test team in helping research and foster white box testing and tool creation from the ground up.
The tester will be responsible for running BVT cases, with precision and accuracy. The position will perform tool bvts as well as game BVTs. Tools BVT work will require working in all content creator tools (Max, Maya, and proprietary Bungie Tools) and doing baseline tasks to verify the content creator workflow. The tester will be responsible for working with the lead to end-of-life old cases, and working with content creators to add new essential cases.
