If you've been to the local computer shop lately, you may have seen a new box garnering the shelves. No, it's not the falsely rumored Halo 1.5, but the recently updated package for Halo. Among other things, the new package sports a fancy gold blammie listing a few of the "Game of the Year" awards Halo has received.

Okay, so the new package may not be particularly exciting enough to write home to your Mother about (unless you are an avid Bungie collector). However, the big news of the day is that Halo has officially sold over 1 million copies. Precisely, as of the March 23 NPDFunworld market report, the official tally of boxes purchased by consumers reached a whoppin' 1,008,992. That's more than any game ever in Bungie's long history. Even Gnop! As a matter of fact, that makes Halo the fastest selling game on any of the latest consoles.
Thanks, everyone! Our fans are the greatest.
