Enlist Today

Starting now, an all new set of Matchmaking Playlists, dubbed The New Matchmaking Experience™, have been rolled into Halo 3’s Multiplayer lineup and representative content has been dropped into Bungie Favorites. Over the next few months, teams will make and shatter alliances, scrambling to get an early handhold along the climb to the upper echelon of the Professional Gaming League, where fame, fortune, and licensing endorsements await.

You'll have to learn where every pair of Brute Spikers spawn, determine how to best utilize every Shield Door to your tactical advantage, and rework your map strategies to outwit opponents armed with Power Drainers and Radar Jammers. If you want a shot at Super Summ3r Jam Extreme™, you’ll need to test your mettle and might in these all new B.U.N.G.L.E.™ Professional Gaming Playlists first.

The Lineup

Ready to dive into The New Matchmaking Experience™?  Not so fast, friend.  First, you'll need to familiarize yourself with the core trio of expertly-crafted arenas that you'll call home.  Know these three maps like the back of your Spiker-clutching hand.

  • Test your tactical awareness on Blowout, a reimagining of Halo 2's Lockout, demanding a dramatic shift in form and function by way of an infusion of Shield Doors, Man Cannons, and Brute Spiker Rifles.

  • Get transported on Bungital, a map variant that uses the power of Halo 3's The Forge™ to create a space perfectly suited for tournament play with additional Shield Doors, extra Equipment, and Teleporters around every corner.

  • Drop into Showerball, a playspace that takes Grifball and turns it into a true test of player skill, employing Plasma Pistols, The Sentinel Beam, and a dramatic reduction in weapon damage, to create a skill-based arena where player position and aiming always lead to victory.

Get in the Game

Your Battle Rifle is the stuff of four-shot legend. If you didn’t know better, you’d swear your Sniper Rifle didn’t even have a scope. You have every respawn, every weapon placement, and every map call-out seared into your cerebral cortex. But you’re not ready for the next big thing in Professional Gaming.

Now you know the name of the game.  You've been introduced to the one and ONLY premiere Pro Gaming League that features Halo 3 Professional Play, B.U.N.G.L.E.™.  There's only one thing left to do.  Jump into the New Matchmaking Experience™ today and Get in the Game!  And Stay Tuned to Bungie.net for more details on how you can join the frenzy when it comes to a major city near you!

Where's Mah Dooble EXP?!

Fix your -blam!-, Bungle!

So, yeah, This week's Double EXP Weekend is running a little behind. I blame Ninja 0n Fire. (He tells me that some fairly large updates are being deployed and as a result, we'll likely not see the Double EXP Weekend go live until tomorrow, or, *gulp* "later").

When it is ready to go, we'll let you know.

Feet first into awesome.

Looks like ubald unleashed another render over at HBO. This one's a WIP and part of a much larger collection that will ultimately serve as a webcomic. But you should check it out now.

Top 10 Halo 3 Kills on The Pit: Episode 59

Posted by urk at 8/30/2010 9:00 AM PDT

You know the deal.

Anoj didn't submit his latest entry to Comm Chatter, but they gang at HBO picked up the slack. Besides, even without Anoj's familiar wordplay, we all know what this video's about anyway. There's like ten kills. You can submit your own for next week if you're astute enough to figure out how to make it happen.
