Alright so I'll start off by saying this is a VERY nice shot. The effect turned out well, the positioning and angle all work, and the lighting is very nice. The only criticism I'm going to give you is the effect is very overused. I like this interpretation of it, most people use grenade explosions or other smoke instead of this blue stuff [whatever it is]. I especially like the contrast in the depth of the actual spartan.
