Many of you will open this and think, "this much discussion over a simple map," and just back out of the page and try to find a more simple description of a map. I encourage you to please take the time to lay back, relax, and please read. Just so you don't get bored out of your mind, I added pictures of a few of the map sections for you to view.
A long awaited puzzle map to be released to the forums. This is the great sequel to Saw Evolution, and its predecesor which got nearly 6,000 downloads! Truly an amazing feat for a puzzle map many would think.
I have been holding off my new releases and letting them settle down a bit while I create new types of maps, such as close quater and big team battle maps. None of these had as much downloads as my puzzle maps.
"Link" Puzzle
Still, I waited... I waited and had patience while people begged me to make another. Thus, came Saw Tower. Then, weeks of testing, then months more, until now when I will release it. Many of you probably already played this no doubt, for it has been on my fileshare for 2 months!
Soccer Maze
Now I release it, possibly too late. I have lost many "fans" or "downloaders". I hope that the Bungie community will give it a chance to shine, along with my many other Saw maps that I already have on my fileshare.
Mongoose Jump Glitch
Now, as many of you may not know, I have had many difficulties. My Saw 4 map had to go through many versions due to glitches (thanks Bungie Community for helping!) and thus narrowing downloads. I was happy with what little downloads I had at that time, so I tried again. I released Saw 5 on Christmas day. It was horrible: so many ways out, so many glitches, and epic fail! At that time I had my doubts if puzzle maps could ever be good. I tried once again, and that is where my big break was.
Sniper Ricochet Spot
Saw Fourtress was next. Me and my great Saw forging buddy Nermana were forging away at what we thought was a Revolutionary moment for Puzzles. Maybe we were right; It combined fun and puzzles all in one. It was the perfect difficulty as well. Then, came the devastating moment. Me and Nermana were forging the map and just fixing up the problems when my friend came over. We were joking around and fixing the little problems when I decided to end it. I didn't save it! At that moment I was very devestated. I turned off my console and went outside with my friend for the rest of the day to cool off.
Saw IV
Then, about a week later, a miracle happened. Nermana said to look at his fileshare. I couldn't believe my eyes. He recreated the whole thing from scratch! He was my Hero. From then on we always forged puzzles together. The funny thing was, that very puzzle still happens to be the most popular Saw puzzle.
That is all I have to say about this map and the early history of the Saw maps which helped me become a forger. I hope you didnt get too bored :) ----Gamer
