I was playing campaign with a friend, and I went back to take some screenshots. I found this right off, and I was astounded by its poetic beauty. Since I am a poet and an avid reader as well as fan of the Halo universe, including our Spartan 117, I quickly wrote the poem that is seen in the screenshot's description. I have been deeply touched by the many stories in the Halo universe, particularly that of Spartan 117 and the Forerunners, as well as Sargeant Avery Johnson in addition to those that remained on Onyx. Hence, this screenshot combined with the poem have a lot of deep meaning to me, and it should to any other that has truly delved into the Halo universe.
I would, however, like to make a few small changes, this time to its final form, which follows:
Take My Hand
Spartans are Spartans. All care.
I am the Reclaimer, And
I have a great load to bear,
So come; let us go and set
Forth toward the finish rope--our prize, our hope.
