Okay here's the premise, and a "brief" history for Sticky Wars since you asked so kindly.

Initially, Sticky Wars was created way back in late 2007 with myself, and my real life best friend coastguard261, and the actual name of "Sticky Balls." Using my new found love for the group of HaloTracks.org, we got serious feedback on the variant itself and modified it several times to what we felt was most fair. As time progressed... Coastguard "left" the sticky wars "team." When community favorites came to be about, I instantly submitted sticky wars (along with several other gametypes) to HaloTracks for consideration. I don't recall the exact number, but I had a lot of gametypes and maybe a movie clip in our submission.

We had to change the name from sticky balls to sticky wars as per request de la HaloTracks administration.

Sticky Wars got onto the HaloTracks community favorites, and skyrocketed. Since then it has been left alone as a gametype, and has not changed settings in over a year. Here's the rules as I remember them.

Score should be set to 50. The game itself is meant to be played on free for all, but can be changed to Team. It can be played on any map, as the settings will correct any weapon spawns already in place.

All grenades with exception to firebombs, will regenerate fairly quickly.

Sticks will give you +2.
Normal Kills +1.
Beat Downs, Assassinations, Betrayals... etc.. will give you -2.
You may kill with your pistol as I can not prevent that, but you will find that it is insanely faster to stick people for points, and the host will probably boot you.

There are a significant amount of other settings modifications, but I honestly do not remember.

To those of you who may claim ownership of this gametype, stating "I created this you stole it," I would be more than happy to provide the dozens of testers from HaloTracks.org, as well as a few Bungie Employees.

Happy Sticking!
(That was cliche, I know.)
