You can check out my Forgehub post here for a more in-depth description and lots of pretty pictures.
Superiority is a sort-of symmetrical map that takes up half of Foundry's big square. Bases, balanced to work for both symmetrical and asymmetrical games, are at either end of the rectangle. The center of the map is dominated by a structure that houses an automated elevator that takes players to the 3rd floor. Catwalks extend outward from the elevator and make for tactical superiority (hence the name) and sneaky entrances into the 1st floor bases.
From either base, players can head down a large hallway directly towards the other base, stopping for some grenades and plasma rifle on the way. Above this large hallway is a nifty turret which can bring the pain on either base. Players who aren't in the bum-rushing mood can go out the side of their base and into the lobby, which houses one of the power weapons of the map, a shotgun, as well as the entrance to the elevator.
Once inside the lobby, players can grab the shotgun, have a nice fight, and wait for the elevator, which goes up and down every ten seconds (and never malfunctions). Or, for the impatient, two hallways extend to the left and right of the shotgun, leading to more weapons, and sometimes a hill or territory.
Players who go up the elevator end up on the third floor. The third floor has a splaser, the main power weapon for the map, as well as catwalks that have excellent lines of sight towards the lower floors and lead back to the bases.
Superiority is set up for all gametypes, but tactical games are best (One Flag, Neutral Assault, SWAT). Superiority is best suited for 4-8 players. Enjoy!
