Subject: Map Variant

so as you may have guessed, i've played a bit of rat's nest. after enough time in that level, you realize there are certain things that could use minor tweaking. be it slayer or CTF style game. so.. after a few hours trying to get everything right, this is what i developed. put up shield walls to prevent vehicles from being "pushed" over the cliff.. or your idiot driver just decide to drive off. granted they will still go over the cliff, you simply have to work for it this way. added a few barriers to prevent respawn killing/splattering. added elevated respawn points behind each base to eliminate the respawn splattering. added flamethrower, incendiary grenades, and SEVERAL other goodies to enhance gameplay. you should no longer have to wait and search for a weapon/grenade. added a gauss hog to each side and to balance the gauss, a missile pod and power drain to slow things down a bit. also gave each side a spartan laser (you'll have to look for it, but it is obtainable without anything nutty having to be done) and loaded up the flag room (during a ctf game) with enough ammo/arsenal to give the defending team a chance if they're getting overrun by the entire opposing team w/o having to worry about ammo concerns. also threw in a couple (3) radar jammers to make things truly interesting. used some existing structures to create sniper nests with decent (though far from impervious) cover. and put 2 additional turrets to good use. give it a try, tell me what ya think. would love some feedback.
