Few things to do:

Practice Aim, shoot the stationary barrels or go for the challenging cross screen ones.
Find the six hidden propane tanks, you can see all of them from the shooting platform (at least the majority of the platform)
Try to hit the farthest (levitating) barrel with a rocket or fuel cannon
Pair up with a teammate and try to hit the barrels while moving in you choice of a warthog
Test your aim with the Gauss warthog.
Pick your favorite ground vehicle and test its aim or try to dodge the falling and exploding barrels
