This is where I run and hide if I steal the flag on Avalanche and there are too many defenders to fight my way out. You just jump on on the lip of the wall on the opposite side of the base from the teleporter, and run right up to the top corner. Its hard to tell from the angle of the photo but this is very very high up. Almost nobody ever notices you, all they see is the red dot going around the corner and vanishing. As you can see in the photo, the blue guy is trying to toss a grenade down the ramp and around the corner that he thinks I'm hiding behind.
From here I just wait for them to search the teleporter area or the infantry center, and then they usually go to counter attack. I either evac-out via mongoose, hornet, or warthog, or I just take the teleporter to get the flag halfway across the map. Attackers rarely look behind them for a flag carrier once they assume that their area is clear afterall.
