The large central structure is high above the landscape, producing an excellent vantage point for map control while dividing the map into two distinct sections. Don't be fooled by the size, since this area quickly converts to a frantic close quarters battle in the amount of time that it takes to go through a mancannon. The base gives you a good view of the action while giving you enough cover to avoid spawn camping. The thin towers provide a mini-jump game that rewards you with instant access to the top of the enemy base. At the same time, it gives cover to players on the bottom to protect against a hail of bullets coming from the top center. Thanks to SandTowers vertical styling, the warthog is not constrained to the outer sections of the map and is easily used to move through the entire ground level. Grab some friends and a good energy drink, because you will need both to conquer all 3 dimensions in SandTowers.2. Is your map symmetrical or asymmetrical? Symmetrical3. How many players best suit your map? Can it support players below or above your ideal player count? This maps works best with 4v4-6v6. It can support larger player counts, but larger gametypes should rely on its big brother, SandTowers BTB.4. Does your map have vehicles? What purpose do the vehicles serve? Can it sustain vehicles? The warthog allows for troop transport along with carnage/variety. The chopper is stowed behind the base, helping a pinnned team get out and counter the warthog or an enemy sniper. There is plenty of cover from the missile pod and laser, yet enough room that the vehicles feel useful. Mongooses are included for map/objective transportation. The banshee can be included for a greater variety in game play (See neutral bomb video), but it seems to work best in Big Team Battles.5. Does your map have teleporters? What purpose do the teleporters serve? No.6. What standard gametypes (Slayer, CTF, Oddball, King, Assault, VIP, Juggernaut, Territories, Infection) are supported by your map? Which work best? Which gametypes are not supported, or do not work best? Slayer, CTF, Multi-bomb and neutral bomb work the best (AR or BR starts). The gametypes play like a smaller version of Valhalla.7. What non-standard gametypes (Swords, SWAT, Rocket Race, gametypes you have made specifically for your map) might you recommend for your map variant? Provide links if possible/applicable. It's got a good vibe goin, kinda like Waterworks from Halo 2- aside from the similar base layout it's got plenty of freedom for the vehicles without making people feel like they have to rely on wheels to get to the other base (thanks to the cover & extra paths w/ the towers & mancannons). It's a pretty cool map, in my opinion.
